The bed was very comfortable, included breakfast and dinner along with snacks/coffee/tea in the afternoon. Both the breakfast and dinner were excellent with good options for vegans/vegetarians. The cafe space was also on the top floor with some outdoor terrace space to enjoy. The room was great, there is elevator access so you don't have to drag your bags up stairs. Our room had a separate toilet and shower room which is a nice touch. There is a gym in the basement and the hotel is part of a larger converted opera house with some restaurants and cafes attached in an indoor mall space. The Architecture is nice and you have a few other amenities as part of the same building.

Our stay at this Home Hotel in Oslo was exceptional. The location was perfect - a short walk from the central train station. The public areas were very comfortable - the lobby had lots of seating, had tea, hot chocolate, and coffee available all day and night. The breakfast room became a restaurant in the evening, so the fika and dinner meal were on the upper floor. There was a large living space above the meal room with books and other activities available, as well as a terrace you could go and sit on in the fresh air. Having fika and dinner included with the stay was very convenient - and the meals had good variety and plenty of fresh and high quality food. Breakfasts had a large selection of choices - all fresh and beautifully displayed. The room we had was large with lots of mobility, although we understand many of the rooms were tighter. The shower was excellent, as well as the size of the bathroom. The bed was comfortable and large. We would like to especially note the staff as exceptional. Dag and Marianella at the front desk were very helpful with information and ideas and we enjoyed their greetings when returning to the hotel. It made our weeklong stay a pleasant one. Nina, who assisted in serving the fika and evening meal was very pleasant and helpful, and Giboa in the breakfast room was very personable and efficient. This hotel helped make our stay in Oslo a memorable one!

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and well furnished. Breakfasts were an absolute feast, totally spoilt for choice. The fika and evening meals (included in price) were beautifully presented and delicious. The hotel is very well situated downtown, there’s a bus stop right outside and the central station, tram and more bus stops are only a short walk away. It’s also a reasonable walk to the harbour, Opera House, Munch gallery etc. We had to check out very early in the morning so the reception staff arranged for us to have a packed breakfast to take with us - very thoughtful.

Breakfast was great! I wish I could’ve stayed longer in order to try more of the foods offered. I especially loved the variety of dairy products; yogurt, kefir, blueberry cultured milk, etc. The location was VERY convenient, since I arrived in Oslo by train. The train station was a great reference point when I was walking around the city—I knew that if the train station was nearby, so was my hotel. My room was larger than I’d expected, and I appreciated how many clothes hangars there were, as well as places to hang things. I was never around in the afternoon to try the complimentary coffee and sweets, but I was pleased with the dinners provided. There were always several types of salads, a main course and vegetables, tasty soup and bread/crackers. Oslo is an expensive city, and I appreciated that dinner was provided.

Lovely healthy choices for breakfast. Complimentary hot drinks in reception. Writing desk in my room. Three English novels to think about reading, one a good choice. Location ✅ On Storgata tram and bus stop. Surrounded by places to eat and buy stuff.
